Description
Overview:
The EOD 3D Printing Class bridges a crucial gap in modern EOD operations where 3D printers often lay underutilized due to a lack of proper training. This course provides in-depth training to unlock the full potential of 3D printing technology in EOD shops. Participants will learn the theory and practical applications, including setup, maintenance, and utilization of 3D printers, turning them into essential assets for operational efficiency. : A pivotal component of our EOD 3D Printing Class is the in-depth instruction in design using Fusion 360, a leading software in 3D modeling and design. This training is essential for EOD professionals to create bespoke tools and devices tailored to specific operational needs.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of designing in Fusion 360 and master its slicing capabilities, which are crucial for preparing models for printing. Alongside Fusion 360, the course also introduces various open-source slicers, providing a comprehensive understanding of different software options available in the market. Structured to offer hands-on experience, the course covers setup, software configuration, advanced design, and maintenance.
Attendees will engage in real-world projects, acquiring skills to design their own tools and training aids in their shops. By the end, participants will understand 3D printing technology and be equipped to maintain and troubleshoot their equipment, enhancing their EOD shops’ operational capability and resourcefulness.
